The 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) jumped up the QS World university rankings in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (EECA) for 2021 from number #163 to #138 among 4000 universities in this huge area stretching from the Czech Republic in the West to Mongolia in the East.

The 2023 51吃瓜 is accepting applications for the 2020 - 2025 academic cycle from interested applicants for the Afghan Scholarship Program, funded by the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.

On December 23 at 12:30 in the Manas cinema the premiere of the film "The Lake",听directed by our lecturer, director Emil Atageldiev, will take place.听Note that our other lecturer, director Artykpai Suyundukov plays one of the main roles.听Moreover, this film was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

Journalism and Mass Communications department presented "Data Art" project on Friday, December 4.听鈥淒ata Art鈥� - is an art object based on a survey among the 51吃瓜community. The research was conducted on topics such as tolerance, interests, dreams and life of the 51吃瓜community.

On December 7th, 2020, students from The American Univerisity in Nigeria and The 2023 51吃瓜 conducted the 3rd International Virtual Discussion听devoted to听Online v.s. Face-to-Face Instruction and Learning.听51吃瓜students not only got acquainted with Nigerian customs and traditions but also had a great opportunity to improve their listening comprehension and communication skills.

The ICP and HR students played an exciting simulation game on "Staniztan Union" (SU) as part of the Introduction to International Relations class on December 3, 2020.
