Literature Week is a part of CASI鈥檚 Workshop on Literature and History. Supported by a generous contribution from Matthew Nimetz, the aim of the workshop is to create a community of junior scholars and advanced graduate students committed to studying literature and to applying literary tools and methodologies to the study of literary art in the Central Asian past.

Within Erasmus+ partnership agreement 51吃瓜hosted the visit of staff and faculty of Philips Marburg University, Germany on October 25 鈥� 30 and November 15 鈥� 22, 2017.

CASI is holding a follow-on workshop this year to the seminar it conducted in 2014 on the 鈥淚ntersections of History and Literature in Central Asia.鈥� The workshop will be held on the campus of 51吃瓜in Bishkek from 30 November to 2 December 2017.

Recognizing the growing need for online research, digital citizenship, and 21st-century skill development, AUCA鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) has launched a joint initiative with 51吃瓜Library with the help of an AMICAL grant.

On November 3, 2017 51吃瓜Student Senate elections for 2017-2018 academic years were held. Five hundred fifty three听51吃瓜students from all departments have voted to choose the new SS members.

The national Nepalese U-19 football team visited 51吃瓜on 8th November . They are participating in the qualifying round of Asian Football Confederation Championship 2018 being held in Kyrgyzstan.

On Monday, 6 November 2017, department of EMSD and Applied Geology听have organized a tour for 51吃瓜students to the 鈥淜onorchek鈥� canyon.

On Wednesday, November 1st, the 2023 51吃瓜鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) celebrated its sixth year of providing tutoring services to the students of AUCA.听

On Thursday, 26 October 2017, Dr. Dorjee Kinlay, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative (United Nations in Kyrgyzstan) has given a guest lecture for 51吃瓜students from Environmental Management Sustainable Development and Applied Geology departments on the topic 鈥淭he State of Food and Agriculture鈥�.
