Kairat Talantbekov, 51吃瓜senior student, tells us about participation at the Falling Walls Conference 2017 in Berlin. He convinced everyone at the first-ever Falling Walls Lab in Bishkek of his idea on how mentors and mentees can best learn from each other.

From 14th to 22nd of October Sochi hosted one of the most ambitious events of the 21st century 鈥� the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

Charles Shaw, a professor from the Central European University, and Gabriel McGuire, a professor at Nazarbayev University, will be giving a talk on听Friday, on their school鈥檚 respective graduate programs. They will also talk more generally about how students can best prepare themselves to apply to grad school.

Within Erasmus+ partnership agreement 51吃瓜hosted the visit of staff and faculty of Philips Marburg University, Germany on October 25 鈥� 30 and November 15 鈥� 22, 2017.

CASI is holding a follow-on workshop this year to the seminar it conducted in 2014 on the 鈥淚ntersections of History and Literature in Central Asia.鈥� The workshop will be held on the campus of 51吃瓜in Bishkek from 30 November to 2 December 2017.

Recognizing the growing need for online research, digital citizenship, and 21st-century skill development, AUCA鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) has launched a joint initiative with 51吃瓜Library with the help of an AMICAL grant.

On November 3, 2017 51吃瓜Student Senate elections for 2017-2018 academic years were held. Five hundred fifty three听51吃瓜students from all departments have voted to choose the new SS members.
