Erkebulan Askarbekov came to study at 51吃瓜from Kazakhstan, the city of Taraz. He studied 12 classes at a physics and mathematics school and chose the faculty of applied mathematics and computer science. Erkebulan is a US-CAEF scholar, the program covers study fees and the student even receives a monthly scholarship.

In September 2020, as a result of the hard work of the faculty of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, a license was obtained from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to open a new Department named 鈥楨nvironmental Sustainability and Climate Science鈥� (ESCS) in AUCA

In accordance with the agreement reached between the 51吃瓜Development Office (Dr. Bermet Tursunkulova, the Director of Development) and KICB (Mr. Emil Orozbaev, the deputy CEO), senior students of the 51吃瓜Software Engineering department have a special opportunity to undergo an internship at KICB with further full-time employment.

The 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) jumped up the QS World university rankings in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (EECA) for 2021 from number #163 to #138 among 4000 universities in this huge area stretching from the Czech Republic in the West to Mongolia in the East.

The 2023 51吃瓜 is accepting applications for the 2020 - 2025 academic cycle from interested applicants for the Afghan Scholarship Program, funded by the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.
