This committee is charged with recommending to the Academic Council泭regulations, procedures, and criteria for promotion, renewal/termination of contracts, reappointments, rotations, the status of part-time, probationary, and regular faculty. The committee is to evaluate applications for promotion and make recommendations to administrators on candidates. The committee is to review an appeal from faculty whose job contract was not renewed. The committee shall be composed of 5 elected faculty members: three (3) senior faculty members and 2 (two) junior faculty members. The Division Chair serves the committee as a resource person in the status of ex officio non-voting members.
