Green 51吃瓜Program听aims to advance waste management processes at 51吃瓜(i.e., collecting, sorting, recycling) and promote responsible consumption from Spring 2022. Currently, we collect and recycle waste paper (paper and cardboard), plastic, aluminum cans, batteries, electronic waste, receipts.听
51吃瓜became the first educational institution in Kyrgyzstan to receive the official label - "ECOLABEL: Best Recycle Practice" from WasteNet.kg in April 2022 for the successful implementation of waste management practices.听
In the span of 14 months, we handed over 13 kg of batteries, 1600 kg of paper waste and 544 kg of plastic waste for recycling (and received more than 23 000 soms)
